Baldwin House celebrates Juneteenth
A big month for Baldwin House, with music, movement, mutual aid, and more!
Hi Baldwin House Community,
Mark your calendars for the third annual Baldwin House Juneteenth Celebration on Sunday, June 22, 3:30-6:30pm! This year in collaboration with Sankofa Video Books & Café, come join us at one of Georgia Avenue’s flagship Black-owned businesses as we do some storytelling about Juneteenth, mutual aid organizing through the years and the powerful, enduring strength (and softness) of Black joy.*
*Please note: we are prioritizing Black folks for this event - this is an intentional Black autonomous space rooted in Black liberation. We urge non-Black folks to participate by contributing money towards this event or contributing labor.

Our flea market was a great chance to build community and support Baldwin House, raising almost $1,000! Thank you to everyone who came out. We’re in the home stretch of our fundraising push and we have more events coming up to help us reach our goal! Read on to learn more about how you can get involved.
Our yoga class was postponed due to the rain last week, so it’s not too late to sign up if you couldn’t make it! More details below.
