The idea for Baldwin House was given life while organizers were en route to a Juneteenth celebration in 2021. Now, 4 years later, we are celebrating our second annual Juneteenth celebration at the building and land now owned by our community.
Join us on Juneteenth, 5-9pm on June 22nd, for a community cookout.
Two ways you can support Baldwin House this month:
Join us on June 15th at 11am at Baldwin House (2570 Sherman Ave., NW) for a gardening day to help us get the outdoor space ready for the Juneteenth celebration. We’ll also be canvassing to neighbors to invite them to the party. Sign up here.
