May-be it is actually Spring… so come join us in person!
We have been enjoying this mostly 70 degree DC and have a whole list of exciting gatherings for you.
Hi Baldwin House Community,
There is a lot happening in May. May Day was last week and many of us participated in rallies and marches recognizing worker struggles and fights in DC, Mother’s Day was literally yesterday, we still have a couple more weeks of AAPI Heritage month, and of course we have many beautiful flowers blooming.
With Spring fully in form, Baldwin House has been going with a lot of momentum and we have much in store for you.
What’s new at Baldwin House:
We hosted a neighborhood yard sale and made over $1000! Thank you to all that came out. We will be having a larger flea market very soon. Stay tuned!
Our Baldwin House orientation welcomed a bunch of new people! It is never too late to join in our efforts. Find out how to get involved below.

“For, while the tale of how we suffer, and how we are delighted, and how we may triumph is never new, it always must be heard. There isn’t any other tale to tell, it’s the only light we’ve got in all this darkness.” - James Baldwin, Sonny’s Blues
