The Beehive is buzzing: More ways to get involved with Baldwin House
A new fundraising sprint, organizing opportunities, a stained glass class, and more!
Hi Baldwin House Community,
We’ve been energized by all of the new and exciting ways our community has been coming together with new ideas to raise money and build solidarity. We have several exciting events and opportunities coming up whether you’re a Beehive member or learning about Baldwin House for the first time.
What’s new at Baldwin House:
Our Beehive crew gathered at Baldwin House to brainstorm joyful and creative ways to continue our fundraising efforts. We also hosted a webinar about the solidarity economy, and we were grateful to have enthusiastic participation and offerings from the community.
What’s next? We’re working on new and creative ways to tell the story of Baldwin House and revamping our website and social media presence. Stay tuned for more, and read on for more ways to get involved!
Get involved!
Fundraise with us! We are launching a Beehive fundraising sprint that is joyful and relational to help the co-op secure long term financing and drive down debt. You can be part of this effort and join a Beehive team by completing this registration form.
Do mutual aid with us! Join us at Baldwin House every other Saturday, 10:00 am-12:00 pm, for a mutual aid distribution table. Get resources out to the community including food, clothes, and other ad hoc needs. Our next mutual aid table is next Saturday, April 19.
Organize with us! We are actively recruiting folks who can help us meet our fundraising goal by June and join any of the following committees: grants, webinars, communications/graphics, and direct fundraising of wealthy neighbors. If you’d like to organize with us, please complete this registration form for our orientation on April 22nd.
Donate directly to our Debt-Free Futures Campaign to disrupt displacement and invest in Black and brown land stewardship in one of the most rapidly gentrifying neighborhoods in the U.S.!
