Our BeeHive journey is coming to a close. Thank you to all of our teams of bees involved in hosting yoga classes, yard sales, music festivals, and other creative ways to support building our Debt Free Future! It really is a testament to what we can achieve together. There are still more ways to get involved, whether or not you were a part of our BeeHive, more info below.
What’s new at Baldwin House:
We had our third annual Juneteenth Celebration this weekend at Sankofa Video Books & Café. Thank you to everyone who came out to this joyful, nourishing community celebration!

Saturday, June 28: Gender Trouble Variety Hour
Join us for Gender Trouble Variety Hour: A Showcase of Freshly Hatched Drag Performers at as you are DC. While reserving your spot on Eventbrite is free, we suggest a donation of $10-50 per person. You can donate at the door in cash, Cashapp, or Venmo. RSVP here.
Monday, June 30: Songbyrd Benefit Show for Baldwin House
Featured in the Washington Post as one of eight concerts in June not to miss. Join us and Red Brick Presents at Songbyrd for a night of live music and solidarity! Tickets start at $19 with a portion of ticket sales donated to Baldwin House. 7 PM at 540 Penn St NE, Washington, DC 20002. Buy tickets here, and please help spread the word.
Sunday, July 6: Rhizome Hardcore Show for Baldwin House
S-L-U-G Worldwide Enterprises presents, a hardcore benefit show for Baldwin House. Come see Early Grave (Philly), Phantom (Jersey), and DC locals Corvo and Pray to be Saved.

Saturday, July 19: Queer Corn Oil Wrestling
Queer corn oil wrestling is back!!! Come get slippery as we fundraise for Baldwin House, an affordable housing cooperative and mutual aid hub for working class Washingtonians in DC.
